Hi, my name is Mary Brooks LCSW. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Master of Social Work degree from Barry University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Supervisory endorsement with over 5 years of experience working as a therapist. I enjoy working with clients who have a wide range of concerns including substance abuse, major mental illness, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, relationship issues, or self-esteem issues. I also have worked with the incarcerated population and at-risk youth and homeless veterans. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My style combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, utilizing a strength-based, solution-focused approach. It takes courage to reach out and ask for a helping hand.
